Effective 13 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-13.1
User Agreement
Your account agreement
This agreement sets out your commitments when using an Orthonotes account. It supplements the Terms of Use, which include the service conditions and limits of liability, and the Privacy Policy, which explains personal information handling. Please read all three before checking the acceptance boxes. Opening a link, registering an account, paying, or remaining signed in does not automatically tick those boxes for you.
Your responsibilities
- Use accurate information and keep your account secure. Do not impersonate others or share or resell access without permission.
- Use notes, AI, literature searches and models for education, with independent clinical and source verification. Do not rely on them for emergency or time-critical care.
- Share only material you have permission to use, protect patient confidentiality and follow applicable professional obligations.
- Respect content licences, other users, technical safeguards and the usage limits described for your plan.
- Report account compromise, billing issues or suspected unlawful content to support.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
Payments once made are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly promised in the checkout terms for the purchase. Subject to those exceptions, we do not provide refunds for a change of mind, non-use, unused subscription time or credits, or dissatisfaction with an outcome that was not promised. This policy applies to Orthonotes subscriptions, digital notes, downloads and paid features.
Before paying, review the price, taxes, duration, renewal terms, access limits and included features displayed at checkout. Cancel any recurring subscription through the billing controls or contact support for help. Cancellation stops future renewals in accordance with the disclosed billing terms; it does not by itself refund a payment already made. We do not exclude remedies for duplicate or unauthorised charges, non-delivery, deficient services or other cases where the law requires a remedy. Contact support promptly with your transaction reference; never send card credentials or passwords.
For purchases completed with an external seller or merchant of record, that seller's disclosed purchase and refund terms also apply. These terms do not remove any statutory responsibility Orthonotes may have. This policy does not cancel an express service-credit or failed-query credit restoration promise shown in the product.
DNS failures, server downtime and service availability
Orthonotes.in is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or continuous availability or a particular uptime percentage unless expressly agreed in writing. Access may be interrupted by DNS or domain-resolution failures, hosting or server downtime, scheduled or emergency maintenance, network and internet failures, power outages, security incidents, or events beyond our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Orthonotes is not liable for losses caused by DNS failures, server downtime or these interruptions. Temporary interruptions do not automatically entitle a user to a refund, compensation, service credit or subscription extension, except where applicable law or an express purchase commitment requires it. This clause does not excuse obligations or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, including any legally required standard of care. Keep your own copies of important material and do not rely on this service for urgent care or other time-critical decisions.
External partners, APIs and evidence engines
Some features depend on external evidence engines, research databases, publishers, AI providers, payment processors, email providers, hosting platforms and other partner APIs. These providers may experience downtime, failed requests, rate limits, incomplete or stale results, licence changes or discontinued services. A third-party outage or API failure is not, by itself, evidence of a fault by Orthonotes.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Orthonotes is not responsible for the availability, performance, accuracy or independent acts of external services, or losses caused by their failures beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee that any particular third-party integration will always be available. We may temporarily disable or replace an affected integration. This does not remove mandatory remedies for a service we sold that is not delivered as legally required or advertised, or exclude liability for our own conduct where the law prohibits that exclusion.
Privacy and your choices
Read the Privacy Policy before providing information. Acknowledging it records that it has been presented to you; it is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing, optional tracking or disclosure of patient information. Any optional permissions remain separate. You may sign out instead of accepting and contact support about account closure, privacy requests or an existing purchase.
Acceptance record and updated documents
When you submit all three checked boxes, we record your account identifier, acceptance time, document version, content fingerprint and a copy of the accepted document bodies. The record is associated with your signed-in account. We will ask again when these documents change. You can review the current documents from the workspace sidebar. Contact support to request information about your recorded acceptance.
The Terms of Use govern warranties, permitted limitations of liability, moderation, termination and disputes. Nothing in this agreement waives non-excludable consumer rights or excuses our own conduct where liability cannot legally be excluded. The non-refund and downtime provisions above operate only within those limits.
