Abstract

[Indexed for MEDLINE] 6. Hand Clin. 2020 Nov;36(4):485-494. doi: 10.1016/j.hcl.2020.07.013. Elbow Instability: Evaluation and Treatment. Adams JE(1). Acute elbow dislocations are commonly seen in clinical practice, and attention to management principles and strategies can help facilitate improved outcomes. Patients may present with simple elbow dislocation, in which nonoperative treatment is highly successful. Alternatively, fracture dislocations can be sometimes easily managed but frequently are associated with the need for surgical intervention and operative and postoperative challenges.
